Are You Ready to Visit Centerpoint Church - Kent Island?
What time should I arrive?
Our Worship Service begins at 9:30 a.m.
Feel free to come a few minutes early to grab a hot cup of coffee or tea.
Where are you located?
We meet at Matapeake Middle School just off of Route 8
671 Romancoke Road - Stevensville Maryland 21666
What Should I wear?
Be comfortable! At Centerpoint, you come as you are. Most people dress casually in jeans and a t-shirt.
Where do I park?
Feel free to park in the bus loop directly in front of the main entrance.
There are handicapped accessible parking spaces in the parking lot to the left of the main entrance.
Where do I enter?
You'll enter through the main entrance of the school. There will be greeters there to help direct you to our service area. If you have children, we'll gladly show you our C-Kids table where you can check your children into our children's program for ages infant through grade 5.
Where do my children go?
Children’s worship is divided by age group. Centerpoint wants this to be a great hour in their week! While you enjoy a worship service designed for you, your children will enjoy an experience designed just for them. We have children’s ministry for infants through 5th Grade. Find more information on our Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary ministries under the C-Kids menu.
What should I expect?
We are a non-denominational church filled with genuine every day people; a community of believers pursuing Christ. Our service begins with contemporary music composed of a full band including guitar, keys, bass and drums. Following our worship set, we'll dive into the Word of God. We offer Communion the first Sunday of every month. Anyone that has placed their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation is welcome to partake in communion. On your first visit, we promise you will not be singled out nor will you be asked to contribute to Centerpoint. Remain as anonymous as you want. We do ask that you fill out a connection card if you would like someone to get in touch with you and or if you have any questions about our church.
Do I Need a Bible?
We believe the Bible is God’s words for mankind to live by; the source of absolute truth. If you have one, bring it – if you need one, we have very nice ones you can use and keep. You’ll also find lots of people using Bible apps on smart phones. For a free Bible app, we recommend YouVersion.
What if I've never done this church thing before?
Great!!! The fact that you've read this far means that you are interested in giving it a try. We know that trying something new can be uncomfortable. Often times, it's a lot easier to do things with others than by yourself. If coming alone is the only thing stopping you from growing in Christ, than call a friend, coworker or relative and show up together!
