Meet the Dunker Family – Our Missionary family in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
One of the greatest needs in Africa is to equip African leaders to reach other Africans. The Dunker’s equip African pastors and ministry leaders to more effectively serve their people – spiritually, physically, emotionally and socially. Mark and Alyssa launched the Reach Tanzania Training Center to have the opportunity to impact lives more deeply. This school equips African leaders specifically in areas of Bible, theology, leadership skills, ministry skills, church planting, and transformational development, focusing on areas like life transformation, servant leadership, and multiplication.
Meet the Butler Family – our Missionary family in Brazil
Jason, Sonia, Gabriel and Giovanna Butler of Crossover Communications International (CCI) are passionate about glorifying God by planting multiplying churches among unreached peoples. Their current strategic initiative is called Vision 2020, with the goal of planting 2000 new churches among unreached peoples by the end of 2020. They are currently at about 550, the vast majority of which have been planted among Muslims and Hindus.
Encounter Church DC
Encounter Church DC is a new church launching in Columbia Heights, DC. Pastored by Joel Pazmino it's mission is to create environments where people can have transforming encounters with God.
Joel and his wife Meghan are former members of the Centerpoint family. To learn about Encounter DC or to support their efforts visit their Facebook page.
Church Plants in Maryland, Delaware & Washington, DC
Through the BCMD Cooperative Program we are able to put our money to many great church plants going on all over the mid atlantic. Two in our own back yard that we are supporting through the cooperative program are Redemption Church in Arnold, Md & South County Community Church in Shady Side, Md.
Centerpoint was partially funded by the BCMD and it is an honor to be on the same team and now be in the position to bless back a group of churches that have helped support us in many ways.
Love Gives Kent Island - Adoption
We started our own initiative to join adoption stories. The greatest need we saw was helping already approved adopting families raise funds to finance their adoption journey. Love Gives Adoption is simply here to help adopting families raise money. Each year we support one adopting family and spend November (national adoption month) and December hosting fundraising events and campaigns.
